The job of the Quality Supervisor is to:
1. Help foster and instill a philosophy throughout the organization where people take ownership to ensure integrity within the process and total quality in the product they produce.
2. Assist the company to achieve profit and customer service objectives though quality measures and continues improvements systems.
Responsibilities: (include, but are not limited to)
1. Maintain and improve the quality process and assure that it is enforced throughout the entire organization.
2. Help develop quality standards and procedures for new projects and improve on existing standards to assure satisfaction of customer requirements.
3. Interact and negotiate with customers to mutually establish and support quality expectancies that will benefit both the company and the customer.
4. Audit all personal involved in the quality process.
5. Maintain and develop quality work instructions through a controlled document system.
6. Perform 1st article, in process & final inspection and educate other in these techniques.
7. Assist in audits of company systems for ISO & UL Certifications.
8. Work with company’s integrated systems for Control Plans, Deviations, ECO, MRB, AQPQ, PPAP, CAR, FMEA, SPC, Gage R&R & Calibration.
9. Provide hands on quality support to the manufacturing team.
10. Help in other departments as needed.
Required Skills:
1. Minimum 5 years experience in quality assurance and supervision.
2. Minimum 5 years experience in manufacturing environment.
3. Demonstrated ability of metrology and basic inspection tools and workmanship standards.
4. Ability to develop and conduct quality related training programs.
5. Computer literate with programs such as Windows, MS-Word, Excel, Visio, Adobe Acrobat & PowerPoint.
6. Effectively communicate both verbally and written.
7. Good organizational skills.
8. Bilingual: English/Spanish is a plus.
