Tool Room facility Expansion, Fall 2001

Distinctive is expanding its mold making facility in order to accommodate the demand for high tolerance Multi-Shot injection molds. It's hard to find mold shops with the experience in this technology needed to keep up with demand. You need someone who can think outside of the box. Therefore we have expanded in the following ways: - We have installed new Fourth axis machining capability in our CNC department in order to machine the more complex geometry in today's molds.
- Have added new tool room personnel this year and are currently looking for more.
- Have added Pro-Engineer to its list of available 3-D and 2-D CAD technologies including SolidWorks, AutoCAD & Think 3.
