In response to the need for more precise mold making, Distinctive Plastics has added High-Speed machining capabilities to its tooling department. With the new high-speed machining center, DPI is able to make the very rapid cuts necessary for hard steel machining and electrode manufacture. This enables close control the complex geometry and shut-off areas in the two-shot and over molding projects DPI’s tooling department is getting involved with.
