At Distinctive Plastics (DPI), we don’t just provide plastic injection molding services–we offer what we call “full service manufacturing”. That means that from design and mold engineering to manufacturing and assembly, our team is here to support every stage of your product development.

Product Design Assistance from Our Engineering Team

As part of our goal to provide full service manufacturing solutions, our clients can take advantage of the expertise our engineers have when it comes to designing products for injection molding. We’ll take anything from a rough sketch to a full prototype, find ways to improve the design for full production in terms of efficiency and cost, and streamline the prototype to production process for you. 

In-House Tooling and Mold Design

In addition, we also have a full service tool room in our facility that allows us to make any fixtures needed for assembly, decorating, or molding. Our Master Mold Makers have made all sorts of different molds and tool fixtures over the years, and we have all the equipment they need to build those molds to last. 

Going Above and Beyond to Ensure Your Project is Completed to Your Specifications

We find that keeping all of our molding operations in-house allows us to maintain more strict controls, and our customers find it saves them time and money. To that end, we’ve added several capabilities to our shop over the years, such as insert molding, overmolding, secondary operations, light assembly work, medical device assembly, sonic welding, pad printing, hot stamping, and much more. Whatever you need, at any stage of production from design to delivery, DPI is here to make it happen.
