We have recently completed our transition to a fully integrated 3-D data stream. Using the SolidWorks environment, we incorporate RevWorks, a reverse engineering software package to assist in model building, with SolidWork’s Animator to check the functionality of the assembly. We now design all our molds and fixturing in 3-D using SolidWork’s Mold Base and check our designs with Mold Flow’s Mold Advisor. We complete the package with CAMWorks, a computer aided machining package. All this is done within the SolidWorks environment to make a fully integrated system
