Due to the increasing demands of technical molding such as In-Mold Decoration (IMD), Distinctive has increased its robotic fleet. Our newest acusition is a Sepro 3021 BZ-6178 - 3000 series robot with 90/180 rotation, wrist flip, 4-press circuits and 3-vacuum circuits. This robot is a full 3-axis servo type robot with all the bells and whistles. Servicing both sides of the press, we can load IMD appliques, remove finished parts, degate, stack and package automatically. We have mounted it on a new Toyo 150 ton horizontal molding machine that we pretty much dedicate to our IMD work. This brings our 3-xais robot inventory to four.
