Distinctive Plastics Version of “’Twas the Night before Christmas”
version 2006
’Twas the night before Christmas at DPI
All eyes were focused on the clear evening sky.
Every person was ready for Santa’s arrival,
We rely on Production for our company’s survival.
The Quality Department was decorating the Lab,
Most of the year it looked kind of drab.
Ray was out shopping for tinsel and wrapping;
When he left I remember lots of cheering and clapping.
Carol thought a Christmas tree would be nice;
If the candy machine was not full of mice;
The Warehouse was busy wrapping boxes for shipping,
The order was delayed – the parts needed clipping!
Our production department was busy as elves,
Packing the boxes and filling the shelves;
They worked day and night producing the parts,
To put joy in our customer’s hearts.
The tool room is working to keep the molds running;
While the project manager is at the desert- sunning.
Pablo andJulian keep our equipment in shape,
A day without a breakdown is a very rare escape.
The Maintenance Department is key to our success,
But we lost 2 employees in all of the mess!
I told Pablo the oil level in machine 2 seemed low,
“Can you fix it?” I asked,
His answer was “No”.
Tina gets what we need to produce quality parts;
She knows what it takes, she has lots of smarts;
Accounting department takes care of the money;
Robin and Patty make sure things are sunny.
Kip is our rep, he sings our praises;
If we deliver, we may get raises!
He works hard to get us the business we need;
To continue our quest for our company to succeed.
Tim and Violeta watch over their pride;
The business they started is growing in stride.
Their hard work and gamble to make us succeed,
Have put us in position to take the lead.
We do things here that others admire;
We need to build pride, and help stoke the fire;
We have the potential to become the best,
Custom molder, IMD, 2 shot molding and the rest.
Our survival depends on each person that’s here.
To achieve all our goals, to produce - with no fear.
We have what we need; we can succeed on our own.
We will nurture our business, the seeds have been sown.
The sky is the limit, there’s no end in sight;
To the growth we can have – do not take it light.
Every person who’s here has so much to gain,
We see lots of sunshine, there’s no sign of rain.
Let’s work together – like Santa and his elves-
Let’s think of others, no so much of ourselves.
Christmas is here and our time to reflect
On what we have been given – and what we can get-
Give thanks for our lot – so many have less.
We need to reflect on our company’s success.
As Santa looks on, with a wink and a nod:
Merry Christmas to all, Feliz Navidad.
We wish each of you the very happiest of holidays!
Merry Christmas to all!
