EcoVadis is a worldwide-recognized company offering sustainability assessments aimed at improving sustainable procurement practices all across the globe. Over the years, EcoVadis has developed a rating methodology aimed at measuring the policies, actions, and results of a company’s sustainability management, with the goal of promoting safer, cleaner, and more responsible global supply chains.

DPI recently completed the EcoVadis assessment process, earning the Committed Badge for sustainability. The assessment evaluates 21 criteria across the organization’s four core themes: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. Over 130,000 companies around the world have been rated by EcoVadis and the number continues to grow each year. The ratings are based on international sustainability standards such as the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact, the International Labour Organization, the Global Reporting Initiative, and the ISO 26000 standard. Ratings offer a proven, evidence-based analysis on a company’s performance according to the assessment criteria, as well as a practical roadmap for continuous improvement. 

EcoVadis also takes several measures to maintain assessment integrity and quality for every single company, such as a rigorous traceability and confidentiality process, a commitment to continuous improvement, and a comprehensive training curriculum for analysts and qualified assessors.
