Preventative Industrial Equipment Maintenance at DPI
Quality Assurance for DPI means that we are regularly inspecting and improving our equipment, processes, and the knowledge of our own team. Part of that is keeping an eye on the equipment in our facility and scheduling maintenance–both regular and unexpected–to reduce downtime and increase productivity. All of our work stations and auxiliary equipment are monitored in real time to determine maintenance intervals and automatically create work orders. We keep a careful eye on all of our equipment and perform regular inspections to make sure that everything is functioning properly.
Maintaining Your Molds In-House
Our mold and tool shop doesn’t just design and build molds–the team also works hard to maintain, repair, and even restore our customers’ molds, preserving their functionality. With us, you can be sure that your mold tooling is in good hands.
DPI uses a molding MRP system to accurately track the maintenance cycle of each of our clients’ molds and automatically generate work orders when the time for maintenance comes. The process is simple:

A planning team, consisting of a mold maker, a quality engineer and a manufacturing engineer meet to discuss the needs of your mold.

A variety of preventative maintenance routines are considered and intervals are determined.

After the data is input into the computer, the tracking begins.

At a predetermined number of cycles, a "PM Work Order" is automatically generated and your mold is taken off line and serviced at the next opportunity.
